One of the most common questions I'm asked concerns my recommendations for alternatives to milk or milk. My answer to this question has evolved over the years, so today I will share my latest preferences for milk drinks as milk.A few years ago, I recommended soy milk as a natural alternative to cow's milk. But as much better alternatives have emerged (see below). It also has other information published on the environmental impact of soybean cultivation (the Amazon rainforest is being devastated by deforestation to create soybean agricultural lands) and the alarming fact that most soybeans grown today are genetically modified (GMO) varieties.Moreover, the most popular brands of soy milk (I will not name names, but these are probably those in the supermarket) were acquired by large for-profit food and beverages and as a result have been known and syrup made nutritionally inferior. Review the list of ingredients in the "normal" milk soy next time you're in the store: It is loaded with sugar!
Thumbs down: Soy Milk
Without question, most soy milk too common, too sweet and too much of giants of the same food and drinks that are still in production and promote the marketing of other products, the degenerative disease is controlled. BV Cure program , I recommend no more soy milk (if you do it yourself or get a small business, really natural).
Thumbs Down: cow's milk processed
I'm also not processed milk from cows that inspired it. By "processed" I mean homogenized and pasteurized. Pasteurization kills all the beneficial microorganisms, and homogenization artificially modified milk fat in a way that ultimately harms the human cardiovascular system when consumed. Processed "mainstream" milk is also used by dairy cows with antibiotics, rBGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) and usually treated very badly in terms of ethics taken pumped. Even the popular brands showing happy cows and claiming to organic production are under intense fire by the Organic Consumers Association (www.OrganicConsumers.org) for the use of certain gaps in non-organic cows that will soon have in mind, "organic" on the day that allow "give milk again.The dairy cow's milk is unhealthy and bad for the cows that produce it. It's great for corporate profits, however, and therefore continue to be marketed as much milk as a drink for lunch. Even so have great influence in the Department of Agriculture that the latest dietary recommendations suggest that authority, in essence, that everyone should drink more milk. And no wonder that manufacturers of infant formula have been trying for decades to convince nutritionally ignorant mothers believe that cow's milk is best for your baby than human breast milk. (A strange idea, right?)
Good: Raw milk
In the last two years I have been an advocate of raw milk (especially raw fermented milk, see below). Raw goat's milk is my personal recommendation, but also raw cow's milk is well founded. What is good about raw milk? Because not homogenized or pasteurized, is nutritionally better than milk dead cooked. Raw milk seems to be much easier to digest and contains living bacteria cultures that enhance digestion and even soothe the digestive tract.No wonder, then, is that raw milk under attack by federal regulators and some members of the processed milk industry. They do not want people to a "superior" milk that is not as profitable to sell (because it reduces the lifetime), so they are trying to find raw milk market and limit consumer choice to milk processed to destroy the dead. (The same is true in the almond industry, where the Almond Board of California is trying now, everyone in the state, almonds grown radiate true, and yet have a "bonus", even though they are dead. )For public safety of this attack on raw milk is dressed up to look worried. Raw milk is dangerous, authorities say, because the live cultures contaminated with harmful bacteria and damage that someone is. The preferred alternative, it seems, is to kill all the food so it hurts everyone equally.
When choosing raw milk, raw cow milk are the typical options, and raw goat milk. Raw goat milk is compatible with human nutritional needs (and is especially beneficial for small children if the mother's milk is unavailable), but has a stronger taste that not everyone will enjoy. I encourage you to try both raw goat milk and raw cow milk, and then decide what you like. The proteins in goat milk are certainly easier for people to digest.Form thumbs up: Fermented raw milkIs it better to drink milk-based health, in my opinion, fermented raw milk.
